Accountant (Contract to Perm)

You are a detail-oriented and organized accountant with strong reconciliation experience who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This position pays: $30-32/hour

What you will be doing:

• Perform account reconciliations across multiple clients, ensuring accuracy in political campaign and nonprofit accounting.
• Maintain and complete reconciliation projects, reporting to the management team.
• Assist in monthly closing processes, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Work closely with a remote team, ensuring proper structuring and prioritization of tasks.
• Collaborate with progressive political clients in a seasonal, fast-paced accounting environment.
• Utilize niche accounting software for political campaign accounting and reporting (training provided).
• Support occasional overtime needs during election cycles (flexible accommodations available).

What you bring:

• Strong reconciliation experience, particularly in multi-client accounting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with remote teams and political clients.
• Comfortable in mission-driven environments with a focus on progressive politics.
• Willingness to learn industry-specific accounting software.
