Job Summary

 

 

You are a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual responsible for supporting the operations in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a chemical plant. You will work with automated and manual packaging systems, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with safety regulations. This is a long term temporary position

Compensation:  $21.06/HR

Location:  Paris, KY

Schedule: M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm

What you will be doing:

  • Adhering to all safety precautions and PPE requirements while performing assigned tasks.
  • Operating automated lines, placing empty bottles on converters, and stacking filled cases on pallets.
  • Managing automatic side stations, including handling 4-liter bottles, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon drums.
  • Operating manual side stations to fill containers using drum jacks.
  • Taking particle count samples and conducting particle count tests.
  • Keeping accurate production records and monitoring packaging operations.
  • Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Department to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Stopping the line and notifying QA of any contamination events.
  • Complying with all cGMP requirements and safety standards.
  • Managing hazardous and universal waste per local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Performing other assigned duties with or without accommodation.

What you bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably a chemical plant.
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • RCRA training and a strong understanding of hazardous material management.
