Job Summary

Job Title: Floater Receptionist / Admin

You are an Administrative and Receptionist professional who will work at different properties supporting the Property Management team at a non-profit in Oakland.You wil serve as the first point of contact, ensuring the office runs smoothly, greeting visitors, and handling communications. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Location: Oakland, CA

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

This position pays: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Support the Property Management Team with Administrative tasks
  • Welcome and assist visitors courteously.
  • Answer calls and inquiries and relay messages as appropriate.
  • Respond to general email inquiries or forward them to relevant team members.
  • Perform clerical duties like filing, photocopying, and mailing.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting calendars.
  • Manage office supplies and organization.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping:
  • Maintain databases and filing systems.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
  • Ensure the office is clean and welcoming.
What You Bring:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or higher preferred).
  • Prior Receptionist. Property Management, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
