Position Title: Associate, Community Manager
You are a proactive and creative professional passionate about fostering vibrant and engaging online communities. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a team of community and marketing experts, contribute to innovative initiatives, and thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
This position pays: $32 – $34 per hour
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, Contract for 1 year
What you will be doing:
- Engage with members on our online community platform and Slack, fostering meaningful interactions.
- Create compelling internal content backed by data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and enforce community guidelines to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
- Help manage gamification programs, addressing issues and devising new engagement initiatives.
- Assist in managing the online leader ambassador program, nurturing relationships with community leaders.
What you bring:
- Exceptional written communication skills, with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Independent, proactive, and creative thinking to drive community engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks effectively.
- Quick learner, adaptable to new software and tools.
- Prior experience in online community management is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with tools like Lithium/Khoros, Trello, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Bunchball/Nitro, and Excel is a plus but not required.
