Maintenance Mechanic

You are a Maintenance Mechanic who will be performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery in a timely manner. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and complies with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues as needed. Have a great work ethic and a positive attitude.

This Position Pays: $30.65 – $30.65

What you will do:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to facilitate repairs.
• Operate tools such as lathe, drill press, grinder, and welders for metalworking.
• Initiate purchase requests for replacement parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and GMPs while performing maintenance duties.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and sanitary condition.

What you bring:

• 3 to 5 years of paid experience at a Journeyman Mechanic level.
• Ability to weld and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with shop equipment, basic computer skills, and electrical knowledge.
• Proficiency in reading technical documents, safety guidelines, and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry for calculations.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and work in environments exposed to electrical hazards, high places, and varying weather conditions.
