Payroll Coordinator (Contract-to-hire)



You are a Payroll Coordinator with 1-2 years of payroll experience, ADP experience and a HS Diploma at minimum.



This position pays: $32.00 to $$34.00 per hour



Location: San Jose, CA – Hybrid



What you will be doing:

• Review payroll information for accuracy and ensure integrity of payroll data
• Review time records for assigned employees to ensure appropriate approvals are in place and accurate hours and pay are reflected by corporate payroll deadline
• Review payroll reports prior to corporate payroll submitting to ADP
• Answer payroll policy and procedure related inquiries
• Respond to employee questions regarding their paychecks
• Maintain controls in payroll process and work with management to improve processes
• Maintain employees’ sick and vacation accrual balances based on accrual rates in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and usage
• Review and process union related benefits
• Request setup in TimeClock Plus (TCP) to pay employees based on personnel changes
• Create IT tickets to provide appropriate TCP access to employees after initial setup
• Participate in training employees on the use of TCP
• Complete ad hoc wage related reports where needed
• Provide timely information to management on trends or concerns

What you bring:

• 1-2 years of payroll experience
• Attention to detail
• ADP experience preferred
• HS Diploma
