Position:
Route Delivery Driver/Lead

Location: Sarasota, FL

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, Off Saturday to Monday

Pay Range: $57,200 to $61,360 annually

Job Summary:

In the Route Delivery Driver/Lead role, you will ensure safe, timely product
deliveries, provide excellent customer service, and lead a team of six drivers
at our Sarasota cross dock. Your role is essential in maintaining reliable and
efficient delivery operations. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate company
  trucks safely
  
  Drive designated routes in company-owned trucks, ensuring strict adherence
  to road safety laws and prioritizing the care of our products.
• Deliver and pick up
  products
  
  Load, transport, and unload orders with accuracy, completing deliveries on
  schedule while maintaining product integrity.
• Conduct routine
  maintenance checks
  
  Perform regular vehicle inspections to identify and report maintenance
  needs, ensuring vehicle reliability and safety.
• Complete required
  paperwork
  
  Accurately fill out delivery logs, customer receipts, and maintenance
  reports, ensuring timely and precise record-keeping.
• Provide outstanding
  customer service
  
  Build positive relationships with customers, address questions or
  concerns, and maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Lead a team of
  drivers
  
  Supervise and support a team of six drivers, ensuring efficient completion
  of daily routes, handling scheduling, and resolving delivery issues as
  needed.
• Comply with DOT,
  OSHA, and company safety policies
  
  Follow all relevant safety regulations, attend required training, and keep
  certifications current to support safe operations. 

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or
  GED
• Valid driver’s license
  with one year of truck driving experience
• Strong team leadership
  skills
• Willingness to work
  40+ hours per week as needed
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to
  50 lbs and skilled in handling delivery goods, using proper techniques and
  equipment.
• Operate equipment like
  pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Prolonged driving and varied
  weather exposure
