Sales Manager

Location: Northern/Southern California



You are: An energetic, self-motivated individual who values ownership, integrity, and kindness. You have a passion for health-conscious, artisanal foods, experience in grocery retail, and the ability to independently manage a territory.



This position pays: $70,000 – $85,000 per year DOE



What you will be doing:

Cultivating Relationships: Manage relationships with retail accounts, visiting locations regularly to support growth.

Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies for both chain and independent retailers to achieve sales objectives.

Product Management: Introduce new products, fill gaps, merchandise, and manage promotions.

Traveling: Travel 50% of the time for field and HQ visits across major metro areas, from San Diego to Ukiah.

Providing Support: Educate and inform retail buyers, team members, and customers on products, including training and customer support.

Event Representation: Represent the brand at in-store demos, trade shows, and marketing events.

Reporting: Maintain account activity records, submit weekly travel, and mileage reports.



What you bring:


Minimum of 2 years in natural/organic/specialty food sales with territory management experience.

Specialty Food Knowledge: Experience in specialty foods preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
