You are a Driver – Fulltime with Benefits responsible for transporting milk from local dairies to our creamery in Petaluma.
This Position Pays: $25 per hour to start, with potential to increase to $26-$28 per hour for candidates with a California Sampler’s & Weigher’s License (support offered to obtain certification).
What You Will Be Doing:
- Milk Collection and Transport: Visit designated dairies, perform quality checks (temperature, smell, appearance), load milk into the tanker, and transport it safely to the creamery.
- Documentation: Record milk samples and quantities, issue receipts to dairies, and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Truck Maintenance and Warehouse Support: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, keep the truck and equipment clean, and assist with warehouse tasks like order building and forklift operations.
What You Bring:
- At least 2 years in a similar role, with a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to conduct quality checks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Physical Readiness: Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, work in varied environments, and follow safety and hygiene standards.
