Customer Service Representative (Contract) 

You are a customer service representative who provides prompt, courteous assistance to customers via phone or in-person for routine inquiries. You handle tasks related to account status, billing, payments, and customer complaints, ensuring efficient service and maintaining accurate records.

This position pays: $22-$23

Location: Davis, Ca

Schedule: M-Th, 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Answering phone calls and greeting customers in person to provide information on collections, rates, billing, and account status.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints through phone communication, data entry, and account reconciliation.
  • Maintaining records, preparing reports, and performing clerical duties such as data entry. 
  • Facilitating communication between customers and coworkers to coordinate services and account status updates.
  • Handling special cases such as delinquent accounts, escrow, and bankruptcies, monitoring these accounts until resolved.
  • Participating in training to improve customer service skills and ensure adherence to company safety protocols.

What You Bring:

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Six months of related customer service experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Skills in: Customer service, conflict resolution, data entry, and communication.
  • Ability to: Efficiently manage customer relationships, find solutions to customer issues, and collaborate with colleagues. Maintain professionalism in all interactions and provide constructive feedback.
  • Other: Commitment to the client philosophy, focusing on resource efficiency and environmental stewardship.
