You are a Material Handler and will be held responsible for unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders. 

This position pays:  $15.70 to $20 per hour

What you will be doing:

  • Move inventory to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage area, and production area either manually or using equipment such as trucks, tractors, or forklifts
  • Fill out inventory lists, crosscheck shipping invoices and maintain accurate delivery log records for every order
  • Understand the basics of the supply chain, including shipping and receiving logistics, quality assurance, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance
  • Keep the warehouse organized and tidy and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness
  • Apply retail packing policies and procedures to ensure every customer receives their shipment in excellent condition
  • Perform quality inspections of materials, ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standards
  • Facilitate and maintain a safe work environment
  • Lift and unload heavy pallets, both by hand and by machine, and safely relocate them elsewhere or prepare them for transport
  • Receive, confirm, track, store, pick, pack, and ship material from the warehouse to various Service locations
  • Operate material handling equipment such as order pickers, tow motors, pallet jacks, gantries, both manual and powered
  • Use assistive devices – slings, hooks, etc. – to lift and guide cargo
  • Document the number of units handled or moved each day using our warehouse management systems
  • Stock cargo in specific locations using cargo boards or pallets
  • Sort cargo during loading or unloading process and mark containers with identifying information
  • Stage products on shipping and receiving docks, warehouse, and outbound operations

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and write in English (Multi-lingual is helpful, but not required) 
  • Demonstrate communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) with all levels of management 
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Exhibit strong self-initiative, problem solving, multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment 
  • Experience operating MHE equipment such as sit down fork lift, tow motor, order pickers, and pallet jacks 
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suites 
  • Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification 
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be capable of prolonged standing/walking
