Payroll Specialist    

Petaluma   

$67-$70k

Our client is seeking a payroll specialist to join their team. Primary responsibilities include bi-weekly payroll processing and system integration switch to Paylocity. Light backup with human resources and accounts payable.



Main Functions Include:

  • Bi-weekly payroll processing for 500+ employees
  • System switch from Paycom to Paylocity
  • Ensuring organization policies and governmental regulations are being followed as they relate to payroll functions.
  • Supporting with accounts payable as needed & other accounting functions.
  • Assist in training new employees in SOP’s and guidelines.
  • Processes payroll checks, runs reports, and posts information into databases.
  • Conducts and assists with various audits.

Ideal qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience
  • Paylocity or system integration experience preferred
