Senior Sales Account Manager

Industrial Equipment Manufacturer is hiring a Senior Sales Account Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic field Senior Sales Account Manager based in Northern California to sell capital equipment to food manufacturers.  As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will be leading a cross-functional sales-oriented role. You will use your technical aptitude and problem-solving skills and play an essential role in providing the best solutions to our customers.

Some of the responsibilities of our Senior Sales Account Manager:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the territory.
  • Identify and prospect new customer targets.
  • Bring in customer projects that are aligned with product offerings and strategic goals.
  • Drive the sales process, coordinating all aspects of internal activities with the customer, including discovery, product testing, project development, quoting, and negotiation
  • Communicate all sales activities to management through regular updating of CRM system.
  • Travel (50-75%) to customer locations to engage customers on potential projects.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years’ experience with B2B field sales of industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Food processing industry experience preferred
  • Ability to sell complex systems as well as single machines
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or business field

Salary: $160,742 to $205,712
